Subject: Squirrels in the walls! I am also at wits end with these
destructive little pests. I live in a 3 story duplex. They have managed
to find their way into my walls & floor of the 3rd floor. From the
beginning I realized they must die. Call it Neanderthal if you must, but
their is a basic territorial issue at the heart of this battle. They
have crossed the line when they choose to invade my home uninvited, not
to mention the gnawing I have started recently hearing.
I bought a pellet gun but as I realized
too late, I am too close in proximity to all of my neighbors. Hence I
cant take a clear shot without the chance of hitting a house. Once I
happened to have a clear shot and took it, unfortunately I hadn't
thought it through clearly and did not foresee it falling to the street
at the feet of a group of small children. Lets just say the explanation
I gave was colorful and largely untrue.
For the life of me I cannot find how they
are entering my house. Another problem is that they may be getting in
through the adjoining house which I have no control over. The other
gentleman here seems to have had some success with the traps, I think I
will try that. I will keep you all posted.
