Subject: Dangerous pests

I have been trying to rid my yard and house of squirrels for several years but nothing seems to work. I close up all the openings to the attic and they gnaw through the wood. I tried Red Fox urine and that doesn’t seem to bother them. In addition to chewing up several of the boards on my house, they have successfully chewed up and ruined a skylight cover which cost several hundred dollars. I am also very concerned about the damned overgrown rats eating the insulation on the house wiring.

I have declared war on these things…bought a pellet rifle and hope to snag me one soon.
Any other suggestions????

The pellet rifle does the trick. Make sure of two things: 1. The rifle is powerful enough. 2. The squirrel you are shooting at is situated in front of something you don’t mind damaging if you miss the squirrel when attempting to shoot it. (Know your background)
    GOOD LUCK!

Jennifer you could also try a Hav-a-heart trap baited with peanut butter-(irresistable to squirrels) Then if you want to dispatch it with the pellet gun, it’s a lot easier when it’s in the cage. You can closely fire straight down on it and the pellet will go into the ground if you miss….Ric
